(b) The candidates who qualify in the written test shall be called for psychometric test and interview as per merit and criteria decided by the Management. (c) The written test is tentatively scheduled on June 20, 2010. (The exact date of the test shall be communicated to the candidates through admit card and will also be available on ONGC website www.ongcindia.com). (d) Screening and selection will be based on the details provided, hence it is necessary that only accurate, full and correct information is furnished by the applicants. Furnishing of wrong / false information will be a disqualification and ONGC will NOT be responsible for any consequence of furnishing of such wrong/false information. MODE OF SELECTION
The mode of selection for the position of Jr. Hindi Translator / Hindi Typist / Draftsman will be through Skill Test and Interview. Those candidates who will pass the Skill Test will be allowed to appear of interview. The selection for all other posts will be through interview only.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
1. Online submission of application will be permitted on the website between 0000 hrs on
21.04.2010 till 2400 hrs on 15.05.2010.
2. The e-mail address specified in the application should be valid/ functional for at least 24 months from the date of the submission of application. Intimation for Skill Test / interview shall be sent by email. Kindly ensure that your email is valid and operational.
3. EIL may restrict the no. of candidates to be called for Skill Test / interview. Only short-listed candidates will be informed for further Skill Test / Interview.
4. Candidates should take print out and retain a copy of online filled in application form(s) for future reference.
5. Copy of the filled in application is not to be sent by post. The print out of application should be retained by candidate & four copies of the application is required to be submitted at the time of Skill Test / Interview.
6. Those short listed for Skill Test /Interview shall be intimated through e-mail. They are required to bring the following original certificates along with attested photocopies as documentary proof at the time of Skill Test/ Interview.

Service Certificate of past employment & proof of date of joining & its continuity in the
present Organization
Last Salary Certificate (if applicable).
Attested copy of Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/ Other Backward Class (OBC)/
Persons with Disability (PD) certificate, if applicable from the competent authority. OBC certificate produced by candidates should clearly indicate that they do not belong to creamy layer. In the absence of any of the above documents, the candidate will not be allowed to appear for Skill Test / interview and in that case no travel expenses shall be reimbursed.
7. Only those who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria need apply. If at any stage, it is found that the candidate does not meet the prescribed eligibility criteria, he/she will be disqualified. EIL reserves the right to reject any application without assigning any reason.
8. In case it is found at any stage that the candidate is neither meeting the requirements as laid down in the advertisement nor has given correct information while filling up the online application form, his/her candidature shall be cancelled and in that case no traveling expenses shall be reimbursed.
9. Candidates called for Skill Test / Interview for the post of Jr. Hindi Translator / Hindi Typist / Engineer/Architect /Officer shall be reimbursed to & fro 2nd class rail fare and for Sr. Engineer / Sr. Architect/ Sr. Officer/ Dy. Manager / Manager /Sr. Manager / Asst. General Manager / Deputy General Manager to & fro rail fare limited to AC II Tier or equivalent from the mailing address mentioned in the on-line application form to the venue of Skill Test / interview by the shortest route as per rules.
10. The candidate will be required to fill in the Travelling Allowance (TA) form at the Skill Test / Interview centre and submit proof for travel undertaken.
11. EIL shall not be responsible for any loss of email/communication letter sent, due to invalid/wrong email id/wrong postal address/postal delays/loss in transit etc. No request in this regard will be entertained.
12. Court of jurisdiction for any dispute will be at Delhi.
13. EIL reserves the right to cancel the advertisement and/or the selection process there under without assigning any reason.

MODE OF SELECTION
The mode of selection for the position of Jr. Hindi Translator / Hindi Typist / Draftsman will be through Skill Test and Interview. Those candidates who will pass the Skill Test will be allowed to appear of interview. The selection for all other posts will be through interview only.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
1. Online submission of application will be permitted on the website between 0000 hrs on
21.04.2010 till 2400 hrs on 15.05.2010.
2. The e-mail address specified in the application should be valid/ functional for at least 24 months from the date of the submission of application. Intimation for Skill Test / interview shall be sent by email. Kindly ensure that your email is valid and operational.
3. EIL may restrict the no. of candidates to be called for Skill Test / interview. Only short-listed candidates will be informed for further Skill Test / Interview.
4. Candidates should take print out and retain a copy of online filled in application form(s) for future reference.
5. Copy of the filled in application is not to be sent by post. The print out of application should be retained by candidate & four copies of the application is required to be submitted at the time of Skill Test / Interview.
6. Those short listed for Skill Test /Interview shall be intimated through e-mail. They are required to bring the following original certificates along with attested photocopies as documentary proof at the time of Skill Test/ Interview.

present Organization
Last Salary Certificate (if applicable).
Attested copy of Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/ Other Backward Class (OBC)/
Persons with Disability (PD) certificate, if applicable from the competent authority. OBC certificate produced by candidates should clearly indicate that they do not belong to creamy layer. In the absence of any of the above documents, the candidate will not be allowed to appear for Skill Test / interview and in that case no travel expenses shall be reimbursed.
7. Only those who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria need apply. If at any stage, it is found that the candidate does not meet the prescribed eligibility criteria, he/she will be disqualified. EIL reserves the right to reject any application without assigning any reason.
8. In case it is found at any stage that the candidate is neither meeting the requirements as laid down in the advertisement nor has given correct information while filling up the online application form, his/her candidature shall be cancelled and in that case no traveling expenses shall be reimbursed.
9. Candidates called for Skill Test / Interview for the post of Jr. Hindi Translator / Hindi Typist / Engineer/Architect /Officer shall be reimbursed to & fro 2nd class rail fare and for Sr. Engineer / Sr. Architect/ Sr. Officer/ Dy. Manager / Manager /Sr. Manager / Asst. General Manager / Deputy General Manager to & fro rail fare limited to AC II Tier or equivalent from the mailing address mentioned in the on-line application form to the venue of Skill Test / interview by the shortest route as per rules.
10. The candidate will be required to fill in the Travelling Allowance (TA) form at the Skill Test / Interview centre and submit proof for travel undertaken.
11. EIL shall not be responsible for any loss of email/communication letter sent, due to invalid/wrong email id/wrong postal address/postal delays/loss in transit etc. No request in this regard will be entertained.
12. Court of jurisdiction for any dispute will be at Delhi.
13. EIL reserves the right to cancel the advertisement and/or the selection process there under without assigning any reason.

The University reserves the right to cancel any of the examination centres and allot another centre closer to the centre cancelled.
Cost of each copy of Prospectus-cum-Application Form (Separate application is required for each course): For General & OBC Category Rs. 400/- ; For SC/ST/PH Category Rs. 150/- General Information: Detailed information is given in the Prospectus-cum-Application Form 2010-11. Candidates who are appearing in the final examination of the qualifying degree and expecting their results and certificates before 31st July 2010 are also eligible to apply.
Reservation of seats: Reservation of seats shall be as per the GOI/UGC norms for SC/ST/OBC/PH and wards/dependants of defence personnel, Kashmiri migrants and foreign nationals/NRIs. Few seats are also provided to the nominees from some UT/NE states. Relaxation in the prescribed percentage of marks in the qualifying degree examination is also provided for SC/ST/PH categories. Hostel accommodation : Hostel accommodation is not guaranteed to all the students admitted due to paucity.
How to apply: Prospectus-cum-Application Forms can be obtained in person from the Academic Section, Office of the Controller of Examinations, Administration Building in the University Campus, Hyderabad – 500 046 against cash payment. The Prospectus-cum-Application Form/s can also be obtained by ordinary post from the Dy. Registrar (Acad. & Exams), University of Hyderabad, P.O. Central University, Hyderabad – 500 046 by sending (a) a requisition, (b) one self-addressed adhesive sticker/slip, and (c) a crossed demand draft for the amount specified for the respective category i.e., Rs.450/- in the case of General & OBC Category and Rs. 200/- in the case of SC/ST/PH categories for each copy of Prospectus cum-Application Form which includes Rs. 50/- towards the ordinary postal charges, drawn in favour of the Finance Officer, University of Hyderabad, on State Bank of India, Hyderabad Central University Campus Branch, Hyderabad (Code 5916) or on Andhra Bank, Nampally Branch, Hyderabad (Code 378). The University of Hyderabad, a premier institution of Postgraduate teaching and research offers admission into different courses on all-India basis in order of merit in the entrance examination. The University offers boarding / boarding cum lodging allowances / fellowships to all the students admitted to any of its regular programmes of study.

Centres for the Entrance Examinations (to be held from 1st to 7th June, 2010)
Ahmedabad, Aizawl, Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Bhopal, Chennai, Cochin, Delhi, Dharwad, Dimapur, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jammu, Kolkata, Lucknow, Madurai, Nagpur, Patna, Pune, Ranchi, Raipur, Srinagar, Tirupati, Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam. The University reserves the right to cancel any of the examination centres and allot another centre closer to the centre cancelled.
Cost of each copy of Prospectus-cum-Application Form (Separate application is required for each course): For General & OBC Category Rs. 400/- ; For SC/ST/PH Category Rs. 150/- General Information: Detailed information is given in the Prospectus-cum-Application Form 2010-11. Candidates who are appearing in the final examination of the qualifying degree and expecting their results and certificates before 31st July 2010 are also eligible to apply.
Reservation of seats: Reservation of seats shall be as per the GOI/UGC norms for SC/ST/OBC/PH and wards/dependants of defence personnel, Kashmiri migrants and foreign nationals/NRIs. Few seats are also provided to the nominees from some UT/NE states. Relaxation in the prescribed percentage of marks in the qualifying degree examination is also provided for SC/ST/PH categories. Hostel accommodation : Hostel accommodation is not guaranteed to all the students admitted due to paucity.
How to apply: Prospectus-cum-Application Forms can be obtained in person from the Academic Section, Office of the Controller of Examinations, Administration Building in the University Campus, Hyderabad – 500 046 against cash payment. The Prospectus-cum-Application Form/s can also be obtained by ordinary post from the Dy. Registrar (Acad. & Exams), University of Hyderabad, P.O. Central University, Hyderabad – 500 046 by sending (a) a requisition, (b) one self-addressed adhesive sticker/slip, and (c) a crossed demand draft for the amount specified for the respective category i.e., Rs.450/- in the case of General & OBC Category and Rs. 200/- in the case of SC/ST/PH categories for each copy of Prospectus cum-Application Form which includes Rs. 50/- towards the ordinary postal charges, drawn in favour of the Finance Officer, University of Hyderabad, on State Bank of India, Hyderabad Central University Campus Branch, Hyderabad (Code 5916) or on Andhra Bank, Nampally Branch, Hyderabad (Code 378). The Prospectus-cum-Application Form can also be downloaded from the University’s website (available from 07.4.2010 to 3.5.2010) and the duly filled in application must be sent to the Dy. Registrar (Acad. & Exams) to the above address enclosing a bank draft of Rs.200/- for each course in the case of General and OBC Category and Rs.75/- for each course in the case of SC/ST/PH categories, so as to reach him before 03-05-2010
